ودرجة غليان الكلوروفورم هي 62 درجة سيليزية وهو  كمذيب  مخدر جد قوي وعند استنشاقه يؤدي للأغماء مدته تفوق 15 دقيقة,ونحن سنقوم بخلط أتشي مع الكحول في وعاء معدني مغلق ونسخنه فوق النار حتى يتبخر ويتحول الكلوروفورم السائل الى غاز سيصعد من أنبوب مغروس في غطاء الوعاء وسدادة قنينة زجاجية,ولكن في وجود الضوء يميل الكلوروفورم إلى التفكك حيث ينتج الفوسجين و هو مركب سامّ جدا, لذلك سنقوم مسبقا بطلاء القنينة الزجاجية والأنبوب البلاستيكي بصباغة سوداء لتفادي تحول الكلور الى الفوسجين بسبب الضوء,ويتم تلويح ورمي القنينة الزجاجية وعندما تصطدم  بالهدف ستنكسر ويخرج الغاز,ولكن يجب رميها بعد مدة قليلة من تجهيزها لتفاي تكاثف الغاز وتحوله الى سائل
